Lewis and Clark Expedition in Kansas City– July 25-28

Our next stop along the Lewis and Clark Trail is in Kansas City, Missouri where we travel and explore one of the most famous expeditions to venture to the Pacific Ocean. This is the second adventure in a series of outdoor expeditions to re-live history along the Lewis and Clark Trail from Washington, DC to the State of Washington with hikes, bike rides, waterfun (kayak/canoe), wine tours, history tours, and relaxation.

Trip Cost is $659 plus air (air is estimated at approximately $250-300 but will be based on the date of your reservation)

A $200 deposit is now due to reserve your space. Full payment is required by June 1.

What’s Included?

Getaway weekend trip that includes:

• Lodging for three nights near Country Club Plaza

• Breakfast and some lunch and dinner meals

• Kayak/Canoe on the Missouri/Mississippi River (equipment and instruction provided)

Local museums and Kansas City neighborhood tours

Friday Waterfun and History Adventures

Spend the day in Independence for Lewis and Clark museum tours

Kayak along the Missouri River

Evening dinner along the river (Isle of Capri dinner buffet and casino)

Saturday Biking and wine tastings

Bike or hike along the local trails

Wine tasting and lunch

Afternoon open for shopping

Evening Dinner and entertainment
