Note:  Decided to share this AFTER I'd written it-- because of the philosophical nature of parts of the letter.  Left it in context to honor the "Flow of the Process of Creation" which aids its authenticity.  Have changed the names of the other conversants for respect of privacy.

Subject: A (delayed) "Hello back" "John & Mary" PLUS Announcement of "On-Point" meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday, Feb. 21) at 7:00 P. M. in Winter Park of Freethinker/Humanist group--"Atheists are Among Us: The Morals & Ethics of the Godless" -- can you both come? Sorry for the short notice . . . PLUS -- see info below. . .

"Hello Back," "John & Mary,"
Sorry for the delay in following up with you -- When I met you both I'd been "burning the candle at both ends" already --(doing so again tonight--am "dog" tired & have been "on the go" all day & night with things to do at home as well--getting this email off to you both is my last "outer activity" of the day/night before I wind down in front of TV for some Classic Arts Showcase--outstanding (classic) clips of the performing arts, visual & film from the last 100 years or so--no advertising--Wonderful!--on the[masked] channel--so I'll be having an "opposite day" tomorrow--sleeping in the day cuz I've been up all night; I remember, Mary; you said you get up at 5:00 a. m.  Maybe you'll see this email sooner than later then) -- & then I had pressing financial matters to deal with last week & after that basic household necessities to catch up from that--so fell behind on emailing.  [Whew! that was a long "run-on" sentence where I broke some rules of English composition.  Who cares?  I can make up my own sometimes . . . I write the way I talk sometimes--"stream of consciousness" and multi-level-layer interweaving.]
Also; I was giving some thought to the things I wanted to share with you:  websites, previous writings I had done, forwards from others on the subjects we talked about -- & the list of things "grew" in my mind until I felt I needed some significant time to gather them all together & put in one email to you both.
1)  However, in the interest of not letting the most immediate things pass you by, I am "incrementing" my sharing to you by "not letting ONE more day pass by without at least acknowledging your "Hello" email, John, from your Iphone when we were all talking--& because this VERY interesting & on-point meeting of the Orlando Freethinkers & Humanists group is happening Tuesday (tomorrow), Feb. 21 night at 7:00 P. M.  "Atheists Are Among Us:  The Morals & Ethics of the Godless."
I know it's late notice, but/and I'm hoping you two can make itFirst-time guests I think are free or else a nominal charge of $5.00.  [If you were a member, you could come for free as the meeting announcement says.  Doesn't cost to join & the modest annual dues of $20 would not be requested right away.]
Anyhow, Jack Maurice, the organizer/founder of the 8-year old (I think) group here, affiliated with the American Humanist Association is speaking on one of the main things we were talking about:  Religion or No Religion . . . or "Living the Questions" and not labeling oneself . . . as I have been doing for years, being closer to agnosticism than anything else right now.
{Wanted to say this first--but in the interest of the meeting coming up tomorrow night, I led with that first).  Mary & John, it was a real pleasure meeting both of you on Valentine's Day evening at the Enzian.  The conversation with you both was stimulating, inspiring and uplifting.  The high point of my Valentine's Day!  I don't have contact with young people of your generation to that depth & degree much, so it was really neat to connect with you both & hear your views on life & Process of Finding Yourselves (& about your friend in Texas who's going through his Own "Growing Pains" to Question Authority & find His Own Thoughts & Voice). . .& have you appreciate some of mine as well that have evolved from the Process & winding path I've been on.
{Mary, it was such a sweet & generous gift you bestowed upon me as we were parting in sharing your Valentine's Day bouquet from John with me.  I felt hesitant to accept it since I saw it was Half of your bouquet--and you gave me the most visible flower, keeping the baby's breath surrounding it for yourself.  I wondered in reflecting how John felt about your giving half his gift to you -- to someone else.  I was amazed at how you could do this--with almost a perfect stranger. . . although after we had talked so intensely for more than an hour about our lives, we were much less like strangers.  I've kept the flower in the vase in the frig to make it last longer; when I'm in the kitchen I take it out & put it on the counter so I can enjoy the beauty of it & have it evoke the memory of our conversation. . . I AM, yes, quite a sentimental person.
{Still . . . your spontaneous gift surprised me and touched me -- & giving me the vase as well.  It was actually the only flower I received on Valentine's Day.  And it was so special because it added the ! to a deep & far-ranging conversation we all had.  You both are unusual people and so well-informed and concerned about life and wanting to make (& ARE making)important contributions to the betterment of it.  And you seem so well suited to and harmonious with each other.   It was encouraging to me to know there are young people like you "making your marks" in the world and Daring to Think Your Own Thoughts and Act on Your Own Ideas.
{That's why I'm just sending you this introductory email now--to invite you to this meeting--I've been trying to make time to get this to you for the past two days . . . I was thinking the meeting was later in the week & had given myself a deadline of the end of the weekend to get this to you.  Then I looked at the website this afternoon & realized it's TUESDAY night--not Thursday night --So I'm feeling negligent that I couldn't get this notice to you earlier because of my overload the past week.}
Here's the link to the website that will give you the info more formally:
2.  Next; also in the interest of "Time being of the Essence,"  I want to let you know about the Central Florida Raw Foods Connection--to follow up on the food talk we had.  There's a class that Chef Olive, the organizer -- & herself 100% raw for the past 10 years -- is having Wednesday evening at 6:30 P. M. in Oviedo.  I'm going.  She's going to a talk about Raw food Juicing, demo juicers & answer lots of questions.  I went to the earlier one a few weeks ago.  Was Great!  Learned alot.  Cost is $15.  WELL WORTH IT!  Lots of yummy samples too.  Going to be at the Sacred Moments Massage Studio.  Lovely space.  Here's the link to that:
3.  Also, John, since you said you've been a vegetarian for 7 years -- (Hope you're feeling much better than you were when we met as you began to feel more effects of the food poisoning or whatever was causing your indigestion & "peakedness" toward the end of the time we spent--plus it was getting late & we'd been "holding forth" intensely for quite some time -- & I was getting "blearey-eyed" myself) --thought you'd like to know about this group in next paragraph:
The Vegetarians of Central Florida is the group I was speaking to you about.  They have over 1,000 members as does the Raw food group.  They joined forces to put on the Raw Valentine's Affair held Feb. 12 in Maitland at the lovely art studio of Sandy Bonus.  (Sandy teaches art to 6th graders at Park Maitland School, Mary.)  Her studio has towering live oak trees in the back yard where we eat and fellowship at the monthly raw food potlucks.  (The VegCF group has potlucks too several times a month.  They're just not all raw as Chef Olive's Raw Food Connection group is.)  Here's the link to the VegCF group.  I'm a member of this group too, although am active mostly in the RAW group:
4.  The last info. link (for now) is the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculputural Gardens in Winter Park.  They just had a reception the Sunday evening before Valentine's Day (that I went to--I'm a member) where they inaugurated their current exhibit:  "Artful Strings."  Covers four centuries of harp making with actual harps on exhibit.  It's interactive too with a harp there one can play.  Has directions for total "newbies."  Am looking forward to spending a delicious afternoon there by myself "immersing" myself in the harp.   Speaking of "delicious," at the Reception, a local "cake sculptor" had made a Divine chocolate cake (I had some) in the shape of a harp.  It was such a good sculpture that I thought it REALLY WAS a harp until I saw it being devoured (literally).  I spoke to the sculptor.
Anyhow, The International Harp Museum (here in Orlando) has joined forces with the Albin Polasek people to put on the exhibit which runs through April 15.  There are 4 harp concerts by  internationally-known harpists who are giving the concerts free (through a grant from the American Harp Society) at the Broadway United Methodist Church in downtown Orlando.  I went to the first one today (Sunday) where a jazz harpist from New York & Switzerland was playing.  Talked with him afterwards & also the Harp Museum founder who himself tours the world giving harp concerts.  Here's the link for the Albin which gives you more details:
{Those are the main 3 groups I'm a member of.  I'll send you some essays I've written lately as well as some other info. that could be interesting to you both when I can make time later in the week.}
I want to clarify something now that  I was talking about with you before any more time passes now, though; because I realized in reflecting on our conversation that I had talked so rapidly about so many subjects & my mind was going so fast that I didn't "deliver the Point" about my mention of Wilhelm Reich (the foremost student of Sigmund Freud).  I spoke of one of Reich's books called The Function of the Orgasm, written mid-20th Century, I believe.  I wanted to clarify that he was researching "Orgone" energy -- or the energy of the Life Force.  In the introduction to the book or first chapter, he speaks of how political and religious dictatorships collude to control the Life Force of the People.  That's been going on for centuries; was going on in Reich's day -- AND IS STILL GOING ON NOW.  That's partly what the OCCUPY Movement is protesting.  Because They/ WE See it too!  The whole "Heaven" concept serves to manipulate people to accept less than the quality lives they deserve here because they're going to get their "reward" in "Heaven."  Delayed Gratification: Sacrifice oneself here for the good of "The State" or "The Church" -- and you'll get your reward in some version of "Heaven" or "The Next Life, if the religion believes in reincarnation.  Where's the proof that "Heaven" exists -- or Another Life?  All I know is that I'm HERE NOW --  and there's no guarantee of a "Heaven" or "Another Life!"  At least I haven't seen the guarantee!
Well, I'm getting "bleary-eyed" & having trouble putting words together.  Need to "shut down" for the day/night.  Will write more later.  Let me know if you(s) -- one or both-- can go to the Freethinker/Humanist meeting tomorrow night & I can meet you there & get you in as my guests in whatever advantage there is to that.  The University Club is very easy to find, if you're not already familiar with it.  On Park Avenue, the main street in Winter Park, on the corner as it intersects with Webster.
Sincerely, with kind regards,
Norma J. Young
P. S.  Mary,  after I met you, I kept thinking you reminded me of someone, but couldn't place "Who". . .then it dawned on me that it was Jennifer Love Hewitt, the actress who had her own series for quite a few years, "Ghost Whisperer."  I watched the show for a couple of years & then quit because it got too scary, although the central messages of her confronting unhealed situations & therapeutically helping people work them through and "move on" was interesting--& I liked her bravery and character she played.  Anyhow, Jessica, I realized after I met you that you look like her in the face quite a bit, especially around the mouth.  You have dark hair & she has chestnut brown, I would say.  Also, you're extroverted & gutsy, like Jennifer's character -- & probably her in real life too.
P. P. S.  John, you remind me of an actor too, I would say a young Ryan O'Neal. . . as he was in Love Story, as he looked then.  Also you remind me of one of the cashiers at Whole Foods Market who's a young college student.  Very nice, gentle person with laid back temperment.
