Norma --

The housing crisis was barely acknowledged at last week’s first presidential debate. In all, housing received less than two minutes of discussion and the word “foreclosure” was never even spoken.[1]

But there is still a chance we can influence the questions that are asked in the next Presidential debate on Monday, October 16th.

CNN and the Commission on Presidential Debates have partnered with Google to give select the questions for the debate and anybody has the chance to vote for or submit questions that they want to see asked the presidential candidates.

Let’s make sure the candidates can’t avoid addressing the housing crisis any longer. Vote for this housing question to be included in the October 16th debate.

Voting for the housing crisis question literally takes a few seconds if you’re signed into Google. Voting is only open for two more days. Please go vote now!

15 million underwater homeowners and millions more facing foreclosure or eviction need help. Principal reduction for these homeowners wouldn’t just help those homeowners, but would help reset the entire economy and create millions of jobs each year.[2]

When will the candidates address the housing crisis and offer their solutions?

Vote here and make sure that the October 16th debate covers the housing crisis.

Thanks so much for your action
