There's a five minute demo of PyDev which pretty much shows all the things I like about it - the only thing not in there is demoing of the debugger. http://pydev.org/video_pydev_20...
And btw, these are the things I want my IDE to support:
* graphical, remote debugging
* virtual environments
* syntax highlighting
* unit test integration with coverage
* auto completion
* good help with indentation
* "inline" documentation
* refactoring (at least basics)

Thanks for the info, Andrew. Hopefully I can attend, but I must put off the decision until the last minute, as I am under a heavy load now. It's my first semester back in school since getting my masters 10 years ago. Now I'm in the Software Engineering program at Gothenburg Univ. I'm also on the council for undergrad studies there, so if you or any member of Goth Py has ideas for me to bring to the council meetings (to improve the quality of student that industry receives).
