Programming Concurrency with GPars

Details

With multicore processors, multiple threads are on steroids. Programming concurrency can be a Herculean task. The GPars concurrency library offers some interesting techniques and API to ease the pain of programming concurrency. While we still have to guarantee purity of the functions, the API allows us to quickly develop high performing concurrent applications using the different elegant constructs. You\'ll learn in this section how to apply GPars to develop concurrent applications that can leverage the power of multicore processors.
