Neo4j Lunch and Learn
Details
As the first activity for our Neo4j meetup in Gothenburg, we are going to organise TWO meetings on ONE day. This lunchtime meeting will be more high-level and use-case driven - the other evening event will be more technically oriented.
AGENDA
11:15 - 11:30 - Introduction and Networking
11:30 - 12:20 - Intro to Graphs by Rik Van Bruggen (Neo4j):
The study of Graphs (aka Graph Theory) has existed for centuries. Applying this knowledge to modern day data structures is perhaps a little bit more unintuitive, but as a matter of fact extremely useful. Storing your enterprise data as a graph/network, gives you a much easier data model, a massive boost in performance, and most likely, lots of new business insights. This is what we want to introduce to you in this session, with a live demo.
12:20 - 12:40 - In-Depth Use Cases by David Montag (Neo4j)
Enterprises like Telenor, Hästens, Billes, 3, UBS, and many others have been adopting these new kinds of databases in some very interesting new projects. We will give you a taste of these projects, what these customers did and how they did it, and what the results were.
12:40 - 13:00 - Networking
