Graph processing with Hadoop & HBase by Brandon Vargo, Senior Platform Engineer

FullContact is trying to solve the world’s contact information problem. We have a big graph of contact data (~20 billion edges) that we use to power smart deduplication, automatic contact updates, recommender systems, and backend analytics. We use Hadoop for running graph algorithms at scale in combination with a real-time query and update system powered by Storm and HBase. Come how we use graphs to make contacts better.
