Re: [GraphicDesignersInBangkok] Vote for the next Graphic & Web Designer meetup!

Woodstock has very good food. It's on Thonglor Soi 13 and pretty easy to find. If they don't charge for private room then I definitely recommend it.

Food at Ban Rai cafe is overpriced and not that good. Outside is mousquito infested and they always run out of fans. I don't care for the place honestly. I'd take our original spot over this any day even though its just right next to my office.

Dear All,

I've sifted down different ideas for the next meetup (March 18) into 2 possibilities, please vote.

1. Meet at @Thonglor restaurant (Next to Thong Lor BTS) and rent a private room (B500) and have a few of us talk about their approach to design and how the differences and/or similarities among the designs in different regions of the world. (I went to see Woodstock bar in Thonglor 13 which has a projector and a huge private room, it's really cool, but i think it would be somewhat difficult to find... based on how many people didn't make it to Londoner pub last time, I'd stick with some places that are easy to find!)

2. Meet at Ban Rai cafe (next to Ekamai BTS), this seems like a chill outdoor bar/cafe/beer garden/restaurant place with some music but not too loud. There are neat private rooms for B200/hr but there is no TV or projector. I just checked it out yesterday and it looks like a good place. So we can just meet and talk without having any presentations or speakers... If you choose this, I'd reserve the seats for the open outdoor space first. Once we're there and if we decide that we really want a room, we can move into a private room...

Please let me know which one you prefer. Thanks!
