We are creating a new, old-fashioned neighborhood--an intergenerational cohousing community of 32 homes in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Homes are fully equipped, beautiful, light-filled, and energy efficient. Spacious common facilities include dining room, living room, kitchen, and guest rooms. The Commons is designed to be both environmentally and socially sustainable with the right mix of privacy and community. Walk to plenty of shops and stores and minimize driving. Our beautiful, wooded site has frontage on Wolf Creek in Grass Valley, CA.

Want to attend?

Just for the fun of it, we are going to get together and make tamales---and don't even doubt that we will eat them too! All of this under the tutelage of Fred, the master tamalier. And all the time we will enjoy each other's company.

“I've been interested in community living for awhile now. I'm very interested in sustainable green living, as I grew up in that environment, and I like the idea of having all ages in the community.”

“brucer, we would be glad to talk to you about developing a cohousing community. Come up to one of our functions--a social event is a good way to get a feel of what cohousing living is about. Attending a general meeting would give you a preview of how we operate. So follow our upcoming meetings as they are posted on Meetup. And welcome to Wolf Creek Commons Meetup. John Martin”
