Where: Meets at the Home Office of Patrick Moore, near Ina Road and La Canada in NW Tucson
What: a weekly drop-in discovery group for creative, curious people to explore what is not-yet known
How: You bring questions or curiosity, group leader does not answer or "teach" except through asking more questions, everyone joins in group discussion and process of inquiry.
Belief: You have the source of knowledge within you. Your essence will teach us all if it is asked.
Cost: $10 suggested donation, more or less is accepted
Second Thursdays I offer a Kabbalah meetup, same time and place

Inquiry Process:
• “Why” questions are often used to digress. Many questions are designed to divert, naysay, or lead to a specific answer. Many experts believe Socrates asked questions sarcastically to lead students away from their wrong thinking to the right answers that Socrates knew all along. But Socrates may have been asking open questions from true curiosity.
• Questions may open new possibilities and solutions.
• The finite sum of what is known has not solved our problems. It makes more sense to draw hope from what is currently unknown, which is boundless. How may I tap into the unknown today? Where will I find my next step to living in balance? What is my next step to helping the world to change?

Science Questions:
• How did Einstein come up with “matter equals light (what do sailing, playing violin, and daydreaming have in common)?
• Is “action at a distance” (Einstein’s quote) natural?
• May an “observer influence the outcome” (Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle or Hawthorne effect) by choice?
• By what process does universal inflation speed up and slow down?
• By what process does there just happen to be just enough dark matter and dark energy to preserve the universe supporting life?
• How does space expand? How do they know it is not time shrinking?

Religion meets Science:
• Did the dinosaurs keep their covenant with God?
• Is “the kingdom that is coming” already “here,” in a mystical sense?
Is there a difference between "natural" and "supernatural?"
• Is there a scientific basis for some everlasting "you" that comes back life after life?

Society:
Penal: Does punishment help society? Can Criminals be put to work generating electricity and growing vegetables? Would they feel better at the end of their term if they had contributed to society in this way?
Media: How are we influenced by video, music, and print?
and how may I influence others through creative arts, (video, music, print, etc?)

Metaphysics Questions:
• What is the process of healing?
• Is intuition natural?
• is evolution going somewhere?

Creativity Questions:
• What is the value of haiku?
• Is expression a right, responsibility, or other?
how does less = more in creative arts?
• "captured" in a nature photograph, video, our sound bite, is Nature herself being creative?
• How do we get more people dancing to quality live music without booze?
How can I BE creative, as a lifestyle pattern?
What keys can I carry away that will tickle my humor, optimism, insight, and creativity any time I want it?

Personal Discovery Questions
• Is there an advantage to skipping understanding/knowing and going right to embracing?
• Am I made of “parts of self” or am I one thing (or both)?
• How can I really be heard?
• How does communication work?
• Does asking for help count as a great question?
Are expectations helpful?
