Thirty years as an advocate for homebirth, I find that there are still many people who are unaware of their choices in childbirth in Atlanta area. The Greater Atlanta Homebirth Meetup Group was established in order to bring people together for support, education, friendship and networking.



This group is a weaving community of like minded individuals interested in homebirth and pregnancy/childbirth/postpartum professionals in the Greater Atlanta area.



Anyone interested in the freedom to birth at home with a midwife (or unassisted for that matter) is welcome to join this group. If you are interested in meeting other professionals who support homebirth (midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, birth photographers, pregnancy fitness instructors, belly casters etc.), they are here waiting to meet you too. Each one teaches one through experience and support.
