What we’re about
The Greater Milwaukee Java Meetup is a group of Java enthusiasts who work with, or just want to learn more about Java. Java is one of the most widely used programming languages in the IT, software, and countless other industries. From Logistics, to Healthcare, to Manufacturing and Big Data, we will learn how Java is utilized by programmers across all economic sectors. This meetup's content will be driven by the members. All individuals are welcome regardless of knowledge or skill level if they have an interest in learning and sharing their programming knowledge. The group utilizes hands on programming and presentations, so don't come expecting to be talked at for 1-2 hours. We plan on hosting programming challenges, hack-a-thons, and other fun events.
