"Meet with other sailing enthusiasts at our Meetup events, attend sailing education seminars, share stories, find skippers, find crew, and go sailing!!  Last year many members became crew on competitve racing boats, others learned to sail, and some went for day sails cruising around Long Island Sound. Our July sunset sail attracted 40 members, and we still had room for more.  Last year's "Speed Sailing" event included 13 skippers connecting with 22 potential crew members.  No sailing experience is necessary, we offer a range of seminars that appeal to all levels, from newbies to advanced sailors. Our meetup events are held on City Island, about an hour's ride from Grand Central Station on the #6 Lexington Ave local plus a short bus ride, also convenient to the Hutchinson River Parkway and the I-95. There is even a direct Express Bus that runs up Madison Ave right to City Island! ".
