Using R with Visual Analytics

Dear GTA R group members,

I'm very pleased to announce the next GTA R user’s group meeting. With a wealth of experience in R, Jagrata Minardi will describe his experiences and examples of some interesting use cases combining R with visualization techniques.

Jagrata is a senior solutions consultant with TIBCO Software, supporting solutions and sales to the financial services industry. Since 1997, Jagrata has supported customers working in areas such as portfolio construction, portfolio management, asset price forecasting, risk modeling, and risk aggregation.

Jagrata holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Washington, and a B.S. in mathematics from M.I.T.

Venue kindly provided by my fellow co-organizer, Professor Murtaza Haider, at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.

The capacity for the room is about 60, so we’ll have to prioritize in order of sign-up for the meeting. There is no charge for this meeting.
