Reproducible Research in R (Speaker: Duncan Murdoch)

Dear Toronto R group members,


I'm very pleased to announce the next Toronto R user’s group meeting with R core member Duncan Murdoch, who will be giving a talk about Reproducible Research in R.


Duncan is a Professor in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. His research interests are in applied statistics and statistical computing. He has published numerous academic papers in statistics and has lectured and taught R in Canada and abroad. He is co-author with W. John Braun of A First Course in Statistical Programming with R from Cambridge University Press. Duncan is also the author of many R packages and a member of the R core development group.

Venue kindly provided by my fellow co-organizer, Professor Murtaza Haider, at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.


The capacity for the room is about 60, so we’ll have to prioritize in order of sign-up for the meeting. There is no charge for this meeting.
