This group's focus is to explore the LAMP stack, compatible, complimentary and sometimes competing technologies. We will not strictly be looking at LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP), instead we will look at a plethora of compatible, complimentary, and sometimes competing technologies...based upon industry trends and speaker availability. The organizer, Tish Wood, has been programming web applications professionally since 2002, began using LAMP in the last few days of that year, and is a veteran of the Silicon Valley Startup Industry. He has taught a variety of web technologies including PHP, MySQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML and Adobe Illustrator in a community college setting. He is well versed in many of the latest back-end, front-end, and database technologies. He has a BSCS from UT Dallas and a AAS in Electronic Technology from Austin Community College.
