Learn How to Landscape & Reap the Benefits of Florida Native Plants

Karina Veaudry is a landscape architect and founder of Native Florida Consulting, Inc ( http://nativefloridaconsulting.com ). She will speak on how to turn your yard into an environmental oasis of native plants that will provide homes for birds and butterflies. Instead of grass that requires water, fertillizer and pesticides, she will show us what to plant that contributes to the regional ecology and provides an urban wildlife refuge. Karina Veaudry has 24 years of experience as a Landscape Architect and Land Planner. Her resume includes park planning and design, greenways and trails planning, municipal & commercial projects, landscape ecology. Karina writes conservation policies, landscape ordinances, and tree ordinances. She has extensive experience with municipal ordinances. Past clients include the City of Kissimmee, Lake County, private commercial firms, the Department of Defense, the Nature Conservancy’s Disney Wilderness Preserve, and the St. Johns River Water Management District.
