Green Drinks Message Board › March Green Drinks Follow-up
New York, NY
Thank you to everyone that attended March Green Drinks this month, I hope to see all of you at future Green Drinks. A special thanks to Marianne Gurnee and Mighk Wilson for offering their professional knowledge and insights on the topics discussed. It was my pleasure to host the event this month and really appreciate all the wonderfully positive feedback.
In regards to the suggestion I made that as we (you and I) become more informed on issues that affect our lives we are in a powerful position within our community and democratic society to create positive change on multiple levels. While I believe that each of you are "[being] the change you want to see." I urged all of you to become involved with the political process and cause change on a larger scale as well. As such I wanted to share a couple links with you that will help you along the way on this participatory path.
Transportation for America offers tons of information and ways of "turning our vision today into the transportation systems of tomorrow." Sign up for their email list and you will get timely reminders of what is going on in congress and who to contact about to promote some of the topics that where discussed at Green Drinks.
