Main Objective: A club where active members collaborate to find environmental solutions and to organise and participate in interactive events that help improve our community and our environment.

Focus for the month of May: Stop the incinerator initiative for Durham Region
According to a national report co-authored by Eco-Cycle, "A Zero waste approach is one of the fastest, cheapest, and most effective strategies to protect the climate. Reducing waste disposed in landfills and incinerators can have climate benefits equivalent to removing 21% of U.S. coal-fired power plants". For more information, visit www.ecocyle.org
