Have you ever started out on calm water that changed to chop when the wind picked-up, making the return row back to the boathouse risky and scary? Have you ever wanted a way to scull for miles and miles on beautiful Long Island Sound?

Greenwich Rowing For All Meetup was launched to introduce the new sport of open water rowing and the Echo rowing shells designed by Doug Martin. For experienced "flat water" rowers -- open water rowing offers an alternative to club rowing for speed and competition. It's another way to enjoy the great sport of rowing. For newcomers, open water rowing offers an accessible and fun low-impact, full-body, high-calorie-burn, on-the-water workout.

ECHO OPEN WATER ROWING SHELLS are the cutting edge recreational and performance sliding-seat scull with a unique folding rigger system enabling easy storage and transport. The Echo is designed for performance, stability and safety in varied open water and ocean conditions. For the beginner and recreational rower -- Echo’s advance design is forgiving and makes for grace and ease in learning basic technique. For experienced rowers, the Echo provides a state-of-the-art performance shell for open water racing.
