Welcome, Recreational and Fitness Walkers!

This group explores lush tropical neighborhoods hidden deep in the secluded areas of Coconut Grove. We’ll walk through miles of quiet tropical scenery at a brisk walking pace, you can engage in contemplative thinking or just enjoy visual tropical escapism. Visuals are the ATTRACTION on this walk. Intense secluded tropical greenery and diverse architecture greet you at every bend of the road. You’ll see the full range of what Coconut Grove has to offer from the hottest action spots in the center of the downtown area to small hidden lush streets so narrow only one car can get buy. Since this is typically a 7+ mile walk and takes around 2 hours to complete, it’s designed for people who feel comfortable covering a fair amount of territory at a good fitness walking pace (not speed walking). The meet-up begins in front of G’s by Guess (3000 Grand Ave.) G’s is right across the street from the Coconut Grove bookstore. Make sure you have good pair of walking shoes, a bottle of water and an umbrella or jacket just in case of rain.
