Do you have voices inside your head that won't leave you alone until you get their story down on paper? Good news – you're a writer. Bad news – it's not as easy to get it down on paper as it sounds. Get together with other writers to discuss story structure, marketing your work, publishers, agents, brainstorming. We will even have the occasional critique. Novels, short stories, screenplays, poems – in all genres are welcome.
Discussion will be focused to the needs of writers aiming for publication. Any critiques will be aimed to help the writer improve their craft in order to get published. If you aren't willing to kill your darlings for the good of the piece this probably isn't the writing group for you.
The gender bender exercise! Below I have posted a link to an article. Use the article for inspiration for a 3 - 5 page scene. It can be a scene of anything. A short story, a novel, a novella.
