A NEW SIX PART SERIES IN OUR MEDITATION MEETUP. THURSDAY 6:30 – 8 pm Guided Meditation & Relaxation (Free) at Hope Martin Studios on 14th Street.

SIX PART GUIDED SERIES dedicated to Meditation as a Tool to Self-Awareness. Please join us in a moment of meditation and relaxation. No experience with meditation is required, and everyone is welcome.

EACH WEEK we will take a moment to rest and to remember ourselves through the use of guided relaxation and meditation. Following the practice we will be able to dig deeper and cover an aspect of why Meditation is a tool to Self-Awareness and what other tools and exploration are available to us. Please arrive at 6:30 pm. We will have a few minutes to gather ourselves and settle. We kindly ask that there is no entry and exit from the room during the actual meditation. Breaks will be scheduled.

What can be expected: At the beginning of the evening we will make a brief introduction to the event and to meditation and relaxation as a tool to self-awareness. From approximately 6:45pm to 7:15pm we will guide you through a moment of meditation and full body relaxation. During this time you will be given the opportunity to release your mind from all the thoughts of your day and bring a moment of healthful attention to your body, heart and mind. All levels of experience are welcome.

At the end of the meditation (approximately 30 minutes) you may quietly leave or if you chose to stay from approximately 7:30 to 8:00 we will use this time to share with you further insight and tools on a path for self-awareness. As a SIX PART SERIES - Readings, exploration and insight from a path followed by many students throughout time will be shared. This guided exploration gives us the opportunity to deepen our relationship to ourselves, to one another, to the world and the true nature within us. You are encouraged to attend all 6 weeks consecutively to maximize your participation and value of our time together.

Event basic info: Come as you are - no special clothing needed. * We will be using chairs for the meditation. * Cellphones must be turned off and put away during the event. * Thank you.

(The location is a rented space and paid for through donations by the organizers. The event is free to everyone. You are welcome to make a $5 contribution at the event to help pay for the space.)
