EC's legendary surf weekends are back for 2013! Surf's Up!

We’ll be staying right on the beach and surfing on the Saturday & Sunday. We can cater for all levels , so no surfing experience is needed. We expect to be a mixture of beginners and intermediates with a few advanced surfers too.

On Saturday morning there's surf school. All teaching is provided by experienced, qualified staff led by surfing champion Sarah, to small groups of students. We have the rest of the weekend to put our new skills to the test at one of the best surfing beaches in Devon.

We will be staying right next to Croyde beach in clean, modern caravans. We'll be sharing 5/6 to a caravan in one double and two twin rooms per caravan. They are heated and have kitchens, hot showers and TVs. They are also only a very short stroll from the surf. There are two great pubs within 10 min walk and if the weather is dry we will walk over to Putsborough beach for a bonfire

Requirements
Price: £155.00 per person which includes:

  • the hire of surfboard and wetsuit all weekend

-a surfing lesson on Saturday morning

  • accommodation on Friday,Saturday and Sunday night

  • dinner on Saturday night

  • an EC host to help arrange your weekend and entertainment

If you're bringing your own kit or do not need instruction, contact us for reduced rates.

What to bring: Food for the weekend (self-catering facilities provided) unless you prefer to use the local shops, cafes & pubs. Warm clothes, towels, toiletries etc as you would expect for a weekend of water sports in the Autumn. All bedding is provided. More details will be provided on booking.

Transport: There is a train station in nearby Barnstaple and bus/taxi services to Croyde are available from there, however as there are likely to be quite a few people coming from Bristol/Bath, Cardiff, Plymouth and London so there will be opportunities to car-share with other EC members.
