GCLUG Monthly Meeting

Jon Firebaugh will be presenting regarding the Drupal content management system. (http://www.drupal.org) Drupal is an open source content management platform powering millions of websites and applications. It’s built, used, and supported by an active and diverse community of people around the world.

Jon is a relative newcomer to GCLUG but is a newcomer to neither Linux nor Drupal. He has a fairly extensive history in the development of web sites using Drupal.

If like me, you've heard of Drupal or have even looked into employing Drupal as your site's content management system, you'll likely be pleased to learn of the changes in Drupal over the last few years. You'll be able to see why it is the selection of many over Wordpress and where it may have distinct advantages in your own web development.
