OPEN-MIC NIGHT every Wednesday night @ Koinonia Coffeehouse (se Durham/RTP)

http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/5/c/8/event_79130632.jpegKoinonia Coffeehouse will be hosting every Wednesday night an Open-Mic night from 8 - 10 PM... on our music stage... our coffeehouse is located in the RTP area of Durham just off S. Miami blvd. We have a 2000 ft venue set up with a Bose Pan-array w/subwoofer sound system. We also have 4 mics with 3 or more di boxes. our stage can accommodate solo artist and small group setups. (stage is 10x8) The coffeehouse serves great "Joe Van Gogh" coffee and Local fresh bakery items. We have just opened (12/10/11) and already have had Chris Hendricks, Mirror 7 andThe Bethesda Bluegrass Boys perform at our grand opening. We had a great outing over 200+ visitors on Saturday our opening day... (venue does not seat :) 200 but we had a full house..

We will be doing Open-Mic Wednesdays, Original Showcase nights, Worship Nights(monthly) and other special events as they occur.

We are moving towards live recording and streaming video but that will come at a later time...

We also have close ties with Falls River Music and we are trying to offer another venue on an alternate night that is further west in the Raleigh/RTP/Durham (Brier Creek area). We hope you will come hang out with other musicians and enjoy some great coffee and tunes... Come by and check us out this Wednesday..

We hope to have a diverse blend of all musical styles and a comfortable listening environment.
