Those of you who have already been to the space and don't need guidance are welcome to show up as early as 7AM (but send us a message so that we know you're coming if you don't already have access).
What will it be like? It will be relaxed and self driven.
Will it be an activity? Yes, an activity involving all manner of repair/maintenance work.
A discussion? Spontaneous with no set agenda.
A presentation? No, just a tour if desired.
What's an interesting issue we'll discuss? Nothing planned, so anything people want to talk about.
Do members need to bring anything? No, but gloves, eye protection and a reusable water bottle may come in handy.
Who should come? Anyone interested in helping to create the new hacker/makerspace in North Portland.
Are newcomers welcome? Yes
Who shouldn't come? We're probably not kid safe just yet.
What should a newcomer expect? A tour of the building, cold water or soda, a list of tasks to be completed and some type of sustenance served at ~6pm.
Why should people come? To work, observe, talk and even relax.
How will members benefit from coming to your Meetup? Meet other motivated hackers, makers and doers who are also there to help.
How long will the Meetup be? About 6 hours
