Day of the Dead Live Arts and Crafts Party

Come see amazing assemblage and 3-D examples of Dia de los Muertos art by our very own Alexis Colbert and the artist Debbi Becker.

Make your own traditional paper craft, watch live art, drink Margaritas, eat sugar skull candies and light a candle for your departed loved ones. Craft kits will cost $3 each but everything else is as free as death itself.

The Hispanic tradition Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is a time put aside to remember people we love who have died. It is not a time of mourning but of celebration. Beautiful and eerie art, crafts and food make light of death by embracing macabre images in this holiday's ancient customs.
