Meetups are used to organize Oklahoma voters so that when needed they can make their voices heard at the state capitol. Occasional short meetings will be held, signs planted to promote the events, and alerts will be issued so that members can "educate" the House District 92 Representative (currently Democrat Richard Morrisettee in HD 92).

This is a low maintance type group, not a lot is expected  of members except four things:

1. Recruit friends, neighbors, and family into the House District Tea Party effort
2. Attend the GOP precinct meeting so you can demand the GOP remain conservative
3. Respond to action alerts during the session, email or call the legislators to pressure them
4. Vote in all elections, especialy school board, bond issues, and city council elections

This is a Tea Party, charged with making the state, Federal, and local governments more responsive to the best interests of the people rather than serving special interests.  It is the perfect type of group for busy people that don't have the time to be an activist.
