Hacks/Hackers HKI: Hacking for Refugees

Details
How can hacks & hackers help refugees and asylum seekers?
The recent refugee crisis is an extraordinary situation. We are experiencing the largest wave of incoming asylum seekers since the 2nd World War. Traditional players like government authorities and organizations like the Finnish Red Cross have been under strain in the new situation. This highlights the need and ability of talented individuals to take action! At Hacks & Hackers, a few citizen-driven projects showcase the actions they have taken. Different projects, coming from different angles, but all using ICTs to help understand the situation – and act on it, either in the short or longer term.
Join us to get inspired about the projects and possibilities!
