Homeschoolers Inclusive Playgroup (H.I.P.) is a social group for homeschooling children and parents to have FUN and BUILD RELATIONSHIPS with each other. Why H.I.P.?  Okay, the acronym H.I.P. fit the description, but really homeschooling is cool, awesome, fun, exhilarating...HIP (yeah, I know, a dated word, but you get the idea).

We're about fun and getting to know others. All homeschooling families (even prospective homeschoolers) are encouraged to join regardless of homeschooling method, religion, or geography. We would love to have children of all ages, but we expect most kids to be from 3-8 years old.

Since the intention of this group is to build relationships, we will attempt to meet once per week. We hope you will try to actively participate so kids and parents can get to know each other. Most of our meetups will be in Central to Southern McHenry County although if our membership grows north, we may add additional meetups there, too.

On the Meetup message board, we can communicate with each other between play days to discuss topics that are important to us as parents and homeschoolers.

For the safety of our families, we do require answers to our membership questions as well as a profile picture of you and/or your children - this will also help us to find you at your first meetup!
