my first fully benefitted position was age 18, pushing patients around Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Moved from there into clinical administration where i spent my 20's as a billing manager, lab manager, then division administrator. I later moved into designing interfaces in the field of mental health, then back to UCSF to design the patient portal for the positive health program, then later for an undisclosed company doing all initial information architecture, wireframing and functional specs for a full scale EMR. While at UCSF i wanted to study medical informatics. Looked into OHSU and Stanford. I preferred Stanfords offerings, so attended the program through the professional center.
I was pinged by a recruiter and thats how you came to my attention. I'm into semantic networks, serving prognostic results, and getting users from point A-point G via the simplest line possible.
Golf, Snowboard, Skateboard, Travel, Family, Friends, Design interfaces, Play music for friends and with my bands.
I love designing for healthcare. My first enterprise app was an online clinic where therapists could meet with clients. Second for UCSF a patient portal, and latest was a full scale web-based EMR system. I took Clinical Informatics at Stanford.
