HNBerlin - The Continuation

Hello everyone, on the 6th of March 2014 we'll have our first HN Meetup in the hopefully long lasting series of regular HN Berlin Meetups to come.

We have some cool speakers for you, among them:

The guys from beer4wedding (http://beer4wedding.de/) that tell us about how to bootstrap a beer brewing business

Dean McNamee (http://www.deanmcnamee.com/) who will show us his awesome projects in visualization and tangible user interfaces

Jonas Piela and Oliver Lukesch from Avuba (https://www.avuba.de/) talking about how they started their own online bank and what challenges they faced

Dan Peddle (https://twitter.com/danpeddle) who will discuss an elegant solution to the problem of sharing state across a chain of continuations in node.js

Of course we did some prior research and apparently we're not the first ones organizing a HN Berlin meetup. In 2011 there was an initial announcement for May 17th, 2011 (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2513404) and then a second one on December 13th, 2011 (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3273753) .

As long as we haven't missed any secret meetings, this makes this the third Hacker News Meetup in Berlin. The original members are cordially invited to join us and get this thing rolling again.

So let's make HNBerlin - The Continuation a success.

We love seeing your hacks, hearing about your experience growing a startup, discussing the benefits of idiomatic coffeescript in zero downtime deployment meteor apps, whatever keeps your mind busy and the buzzwords flowing. (Not to be taken too literally)
And who knows, maybe you'll even go home with a co-founder for your next business.
