Awesome meetup, its nice to see the startup community is growing based on the attendance. It would be great to somehow see what people wanted from the meetup at this stage and then colour code them (may a question to all members would give some great feedback)

Great meetup as always but the speakers were plagued with sound problems again. Please use handheld mikes rather than lapel mikes!

This was my first meetup. I love the concept and the interest that you guys have generated around the event.

Although I enjoyed the event and will be returning to the next one, I have a few suggestions for improvement:

Speakers - I think the presentations went on for a bit too long. There is a large, mixed audience in the room and people were starting to get bored and talk amongst themselves towards the end of most talks. I think a wider range of talks, limited to five minutes each would be a better way to disseminate interesting ideas and spark discussion afterwards. It might be nice to have more regular beer/talking breaks between sessions so that people don't get too distracted during them.

AV Equipment: Not your fault I know, but the projector in the room badly needs adjusting so as not to clip the first few characters on the screen, and maybe the lights need dimming in order to see the screen more clearly. Secondly, the PA system was terrible with clipping and feedback.

Great presentations, plenty of beer and great people to chat to.

    Some technical negatives:
    - projection was cutting off people's slides at the edges
    - interference on the radio mics
    - ben kept using his mic directly in front of the speakers so it was feeding back constantly!

    But well worth attending!

The event was supposed to start at 6:30. After waiting for 40 minutes I left because I couldn't waste my whole evening. A pity, really.

The crowd was great and chose not to lynch me despite my recruiter status. I was nervous as hell delivering my talk but the mature and friendly attitude of the crowd instantly put me at ease.
