Modern browsers are enabling a new design process called responsive web design. This process allows designers and developers to radically change the user experience of websites based on which device the user is viewing the site with. In this session James will examine the core principals of responsive design, discuss how modern browsers are enabling the process and talk about common themes, pattern and potential challenges faced in creating responsive design websites.

James Polanco is the co-founder and a web application architect at DevelopmentArc. James has extensive experience in full-stack development (front-end to server), application architecture, UI & UX planning & integration, product development, project planning, and a wide range of technology-based consulting and entrepreneurship experience. James is also the co-manager of the San Diego Adobe Developer Group, an author on designer/developer workflows and a speaker at multiple national and international technology conferences.
