Greetings all, some great news! We've been asked to host Adobe's Create the Web Tour Toronto event. Join us for drinks and appetizers along with a couple of great speakers. We're changing the location for this event to fit everybody in, so be sure to double check the location to find out how to get there.

Also, we have been paying close attention to who has and has not been coming to the events after they register. I have a couple of hundred name tags that I've collected over the last few months, including a number from the last one. With the now +1,100 people in the group, if you cannot make it to an event, please do not sign-up. You are taking a spot of somebody who could have made it. I'd like to keep this group completely free to attend but too much more no-shows and we will need to look practices that many other groups here in Toronto have taken to.

Your local Meetup has been invited to participate in a worldwide tour. Visit http://html.adobe.com/events after September 24th to see the listing of this city's meetup and more!

The next generation of HTML and CSS offer powerful new features for creating content that is graphically rich. It's never been easier to leverage animation, motion graphics, and sophisticated graphical techniques when building for the modern web. Come see what Adobe is doing to move the web forward in these areas by working on new W3C specifications, tools that help designers create content, and services for testing content across screens.

Hi I am looking for a web developer and designer to join my team for AngelHack .. The Project is called BETWEEN THE LINES (http://www.betweenthelines.ca) its more than just an advice series. It offers viewers the chance to see and hear brutally honest tips straight from the source. Everyday women tender their insightful, candid and sometimes amusing thoughts via short video clips, giving men guidance to help them navigate through the complexity that is the opposite sex. .. MSG me if you are interested ...

Did I have to register for this event at https://www.atendy.com/event/create-the-web-tour-toronto-presented-by-adobe-5293 also?

Or is it enough just to be on the meetup list?

No, you do not need to register there, that location was for Adobe to push people to as our 1,200 members made this event sold out on Meetup within 18 hours of posting it. Having it on Atendy as well allowed industry professionals equal opportunity to come to the event along with us. The complete numbers are a combination of the two. Please do not register there if you are already attending through here.

Hey. It would be nice to go out for drinks after the next HTML5 meetup or maybe some of us could get-together at a pub some other day after work. (I can get us FREE Drink Tickets and Appetizers.) If you'd like to come (or even help organize it), please message me so I can see if there's interest. It should be a good way for us to get to know our fellow meetup members in a more social setting. We could even do laser tag, go-karting or some other activity instead. Let me know.
