It’s time for another uberVU HackDays, our 6th one so far, and we’re happy to invite you at the uberVU headquarters for some Git fun. We’ll be working on ways to use the Git or the GitHub API for great projects, and afterwards we’ll have a few drinks. So, if you’re passionate about Python, JS, Django or Git and you want to meet new developers & collaborate with them on fun and interesting apps, come hack with us!

What? The theme will be: Git hacks and visualizations. For example we were thinking of an advanced bugs and users statistics dashboard based on the Github API or a small hook that will keep you from pushing code with forgotten print or debug statements in it. You can submit your own topics if you want to work on a specific project - all our past Hack Days have been great drivers of ideas, so whether you bring your own hacking-friends or you prefer to be challenged by new people, this is the place to develop any crazy idea you’ve been planning on working on, but never managed to get on it. We encourage you be as creative as possible, and don’t forget to bring your laptop - we don’t want you to step that far out of your comfort zone :-).

We’ll provide everything from food to drinks and kick-ass music. As soon as we all get together, we’ll draw up a small plan of what we’ll be working on throughout the day, then we’ll make teams and start hacking. Afterwards, we’ll have a quick show and tell of what we’ve accomplished, and then it’s time for the fun to start!
