Kid Encouraged Event

Come grab a soldering iron, screwdriver, pry bar, or hammer for a fabulous "Take-Apart Party"! We're getting destructive in the name of learning and recycling!

Taking things apart is a great way to examine the objects in our daily lives. This fun activity also grows your maker insight as you learn about components, assembly, and materials.

Many engineers, makers, and hackers participate in enlightened disassembly when they're young as a way to explore (aka, I took apart my toy, but don't know how it goes back together).

As adults we still enjoy a little controlled destruction for fun and learning. We also harvest the old parts to reuse in future projects.
