The Opa Hackathon

The Opa Hackathon

We'll provide free pizzas and drinks for lunch, as well as hoodies/mugs/etc. Some of our awesome partners including AWS10genVMware (Cloud Foundry) and CloudSpokeswill make short presentations. Even if you're new to Opa, the members of the growing community will help you develop real-time web apps easily through the different workshops.
We'll also launch the
Opa Developer Challenge during this event.

Where is it?

The event will be located at SomaCentral on one market street in the Steuart tower. The entrance will be only by Spear Street. The access to SomaCentral is restricted and thus registration is compulsory. Please bring an ID.

What is Opa?

Opa is a new open source programming language for web application development. It is a tierless language that produces both client and server. Opa is a very efficient language and, for instance, a simple real-time web chat takes less than 20 lines. Thanks to its strong static type, it is safe and secured (against SQL injections or XSS attacks for instance) and built to be scalable.

    Hi Friends,

This is for all the BlackBerry aficionado; there is an interesting event on March 14th @ HackerDojo new office. BlackBerry Senior Enterprise Developer Shikhir will be coming down from LA, specially for this event to give us tips on Enterprise apps and Z10 in general.

The room is big and there will be tons of food and BlackBerry device raffles. Make sure you do not miss this one, if you are looking at BlackBerry development in near future.

Can this be pushed back a little bit? There is the big brand hackathon this weekend, and the Angel Hackathon after that. Or perhaps, have a second one?
