Ericsson has ~42 positions open right now and more coming. We have a team of incredibly bright software developers of varying ages and experience, who work very well together to create really complex software for core routers. Our Burnaby R&D site was selected as one of the key facilities to build Ericsson's next generation core router technology and we are looking for a few more brilliant minds to enrich our team. If interested, contact me at [masked] or apply online. There are positions that aren’t yet posted, so feel free to send me your resume for more opportunities.

Hey! This is my first HackerNest event I'm attending. Should I bring my laptop / code POC's to geek out?

You can, on occasion some do - but our events are about the social side, meeting new friends, like-minded folk, finding potential partners in crime - it's about leaving the isolation of much our work behind to connect to the community - It's not networking - we think throwing business at strangers with conversations that consist of exchanging taglines about our jobs are weird ---------------- Just come by, have a beer on us and meet awesome people, exchange stories, relax around a group of smart people, rinse and repeat a month later! ------------ Either way, it's awesome to have you, we'll see you soon.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
