Hacker News Seattle Meetup 9 (Take 2)

  • Jun 5, 2012 · 6:00 PM

Hacker News Seattle Meetup 9 (take 2) is here! We'll be meeting far away from protestors and rioters on Tuesday, June 5th at 6pm in Pioneer Square at the Gist offices (right above FX McRory in Pioneer Square)!

In April I tested having some higher quality food, and the response was overwhelmingly positive! So with the help of our new premier sponsor, I'll be continuing my War On Pizza and be providing some higher quality, non-pizza food (in addition to beer!)

The speaker this month will be Kate Matsudaira, CTO of Decide.com. She'll be talking about how you can be more awesome at work and in life.

I'd also like to reintroduce our new Premier Sponsor, Hotmail. They’re serious about making Hotmail the best email service in the world, and that starts with getting input from users like members of the Hacker News Seattle community. In addition to providing a few other surprises, they're responsible for improving the quality of food at the event!

Big thanks to our venue and the rest of the sponsors for this month:
Gist, who provides the only full view of your contacts from email, social networks, and other sources by creating rich business profiles that include the most news, status updates and work details.

Thanks to Bit Titan, who migrates the world’s mailboxes, from individuals to the largest telecoms, in over 50 countries.

Twilio, the cloud communications company, is reinventing telecom by merging the worlds of cloud computing, web services and telecommunications

See you on June 5th!
