  • The Biz Dojo

Grab a drink, some eats and learn from DIYFather.com founder Stefan Korn on what it takes to build a successful startup from the ground up! At this event we'll to talk about all things startup, share some great ideas and strategies, and have some awesome Q&A. Don't miss it!

We'll be holding this meetup at the awesome BizDojo.

Bonus : Sam Minnée from Silverstripe will be giving a short talk about open-sourcing your product. Open-sourcing a product can be a great business move, but does that mean everyone should give their product away?  SilverStripe Co-Founder and CEO Sam Minnée will talk about their experiences open-sourcing SilverStripe CMS and suggest some guidelines to help you decide.

An excellent meetup with good discussion and discourse. I really appreciated Sam going old skool for his presentation as it reminds us that if you have some good content to present, then you don't need shiny whizbang visuals to accompany it - if you communicate it effectively. I still like whizbang, but it is good to have a few arrows in the quiver in case technology can't keep up ;-)

Hello folks! We're full. I think one or two or three of us will be standing room. For those folks that are coming along, we've managed to get a giant in the open source world, Silverstripe CEO Sam Minnée as a bonus feature ! Next Thursday should be good.

Hi Bharat, I can't believe we missed that ! Apologies for the mixup. We'll re-confirm the dates very soon but we'll want to make sure that we get a good date this time. I'll let everyone know once we hear from all parties.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
