Happy Birthday, Hacks/Hackers Austin
It's a celebration! Join us on October 20th to commemorate the 5th anniversary of our Hacks/Hackers Austin chapter.
In addition to having tacos and cake, we'll explore the world of media innovation. Founder of Hacks/Hackers and the social sharing platform Storify Burt Herman will be joined by Anna Tauzin, senior marketing manager, innovation and entrepreneurial services at National Restaurant Association (and Texas State grad) and our own Trei Brundrett, chief product officer at Vox Media. We'll learn about innovation within and outside of company structures and how these professionals stay on the cutting edge.
Location
We are located behind Trader Joe's inside the historic Seaholm Power Plant. Enter through north doors at the bottom of the stairs under the pipes.

Accessibility
There is a step-free entrance to the right of the sunken garden entrance, but it is locked and unattended after 6. Please contact the organizer and we will be happy to make any special arrangements.
Parking
There is street parking on 2nd, 3rd and Walter Seaholm Drive. There is also paid parking in the Seaholm parking garage (same garage as Trader Joe's).
