Matt Andrews, from the BBC's innovation team, called the Digital Guerrillas (http://www.bbcdigitalguerrillas.co.uk/), will talk about some new technology being introduced by companies like Google and Facebook and how it relates to journalism, and some of the things the BBC is doing to keep ahead of the tech curve.

Freelance journalists Pupul Chatterjee and Antia Geada will talk about their data investigation (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-34268942)for the Victoria Derbyshire Show, BBC. Their work involved cleaning and analysing data from 43 police forces obtained via Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, an interesting source which is currently growing.
