Next month the annual Storyology (https://storyology2016.sched.org/) conference is being held in Sydney, but this month for Hacks/Hackers Brisbane we've gathered together as many of the Queensland based Storyology speakers as possible to give us a sneak peak at their presentations.

→ Matthew Liddy: Basic Excel skills for data starters
→ Renee Barnes: The latest research from journalism scholars
→ Simon Elvery: ABC NewsBot reporting for duty
7:00pm More socialising / Drinks / Food

→ Interview: Dennis Atkins will preview his Storyology event in a discussion about podcasting, new technologies and new journalistic forms in political reporting.
→ Panel (i.e. audience) discussion: How to use personalisation and interactivity to make data-heavy stories on dry topics engaging and shareable for a bigger audience impact.
