Getting your hands dirty with Python!

Details
Join Hacks/Hackers DC for a hands-on workshop on basic Python for journalists. David Eads, news developer for NPR Visuals, will lead a 90-minute session on how to get started with Python.
During the first 15-30 minutes we’ll do a paper and pencil exercise to create pseudo code. After that, we’ll turn that fake code into real code for the remaining of the session.
Since we’re hoping to accomplish a lot in a limited time, we ask you to please be on time. You must bring a working laptop, and if your system doesn't work you’ll be paired with someone else.
We will use Python anywhere (https://www.pythonanywhere.com/)for this workshop so you don't need to install anything in advance.
