Learn how to protect your sources, your information and your story. Tonights meetup is a cryptoparty aimed at journos, hackers and designers.
Join us for great company and good practice on communicating safely online.
Here’s what happens:
• Skilled (and patient) hackers provide hands-on instructions on using PGP and Keybase. You will leave with new skills and knowledge on secure Internet communication. We will be working with Keybase and PGP (Pretty Good Privacy).
• Journalist Sebastian Gjerding from Dagbladet Information provides unique insights on working with encryption as an investigative journalist. Gjerding and his team was nominated for a Cavling Award for his work exposing how the NSA/GCHQ surveillance case ties to Denmark.
No prior experience with encryption is needed. Bring your laptop and be willing to share your experience and knowledge on media, journalism and encryption with the rest of us.
See you soon - and remember to RSVP on the event here on Meetup.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
