Getting started with Fusion Tables

Google's Fusion Tables allow you to make simple, web based data visualizations, including maps, charts and graphs. We'll do a quick tutorial on how to build various infographics and play around with some data.

You need ZERO knowledge of code to participate in this one. Just bring your laptop and any datasets you might want to use, and make sure you have a Google account.

Can't join us in person? We'll broadcast a Google Hangout here: http://youtu.be/4eLBSvu4vnc

I'm using Fusion Tables for an upcoming project where we'll live update, and I found out that even though Fusion Tables are powered by Google spreadsheets, you need a bit more coding to update the map easily. Thank you for taking the time to put together the presentation. Quick and easy examples that everyone could grasp. Will look into some nuts and bolts on options with Fusion. Thanks!
