Developers and data journalists are using D3.js to create super cool projects, but it can be really intimidating to try the first time. Join us on Nov. 1 at the University of Miami for an introductory workshop on D3 led by four South Florida devs. We'll look at key terms and how to implement small-scale projects. Bring your computers, ideas and lots of questions! We'll be meeting in room 2055 in the Communications building.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
