Dear Hacks & Hackers, I would like to have a short talk about "Web & APIs" – What is a Web API, what are APIs used for, what is the current situations & trends and why you might want to care about APIs. If you will, I can also share some details on the API development process.

"Můj příspěvek" je prý blbý jméno pro příspěvek na HH. Takže jinak: Hitparáda nejhorších viualizací jako inspirace dobrého datavizu
Když předem mnou někdo pronese spojení „datová žurnalistika“, přestanu poslouchat. Debaty o datové žurnalistice mi přijdou buď příliš odborné („tak jsme si napsali takovej skriptík na skrejpování té bázičky“) nebo příliš povrchní a nudné („je potřeba podpořit datovou žurnalistiku, jelikož je nezbytná pro udržitelnost médií). Vybrala jsem si proto jen jednu a konkrétní část datové žurnalistiky – vizualizace. Hitparádou nejmíň povedených vizualizací bych ráda otevřela debatu o tom, jaké jsou možnosti vizualizace, jak se mění gramotnost čtenářů ve vnímání vizualizací a jaké jsou nejčastější omyly, které si novináři vyfňukávají na datalidech a nejčastější záseky, které si datalidi vyvztekávají na novinářích.
